Program Objectives/Outcomes

Objective 1: Inculcate in our students a broad knowledge of computer science and engineering technology
1.1

Our graduates will be able to apply basic knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering appropriate to Computer Science & Engineering Technology.

Our graduates will be able describe and demonstrate knowledge of digital circuits, computer peripherals and devices
 
1.3 Our graduates will be able to analyze a problem, and identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.  
 
Objective 2: Develop skills for using, configuring, designing and maintaining different software/hardware and computer network systems
   
2.1 Our graduates will be able to use different general purpose software packages necessary for documentation or presentation.
 
2.2 Our graduates will be able to install/uninstall, configure and work with different modern Operating System software.
 
2.3 Our graduate will be able to identify, troubleshoot and solve errors/faults in computer software and hardware.
 
2.4 Our graduates will be able to setup and maintain a small to medium scale network (LAN).
 
2.5 Our graduates will be able to apply structured and object oriented programming techniques in variety of programming languages.
 
2.6 Our graduates will be able to utilize visual design environment to develop programs and applications.
 
2.7 Our graduates will be able to design computer applications using different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 
2.8 Our graduate will be able to design database applications using modern relational database management systems (RDBMS).
 
2.9 Our graduates will be able to design images and animations for Web pages using different graphics packages.

Objective 3: Provide effective communication and teamwork skills

Our graduates will be able to produce well organized documents (reports) and presentations to present technical information and operations of systems.
 
3.2 Our graduates will be able to work individually as well as in a team to contribute to successful collaboration with colleagues and clients
