As English is the language of instruction at HBCC, all students pass through the English Language Unit. Preparatory Year students receive four hours English Language instruction per day, a total of 20 hours per week. Evaluation is by three comprehensive written examinations throughout the semester. Freshman students receive 3 hours of instruction per week. Evaluation is a combination of coursework and three written examinations throughout the semester. To reflect the broader nature of education at HBCC, the students’ attendance, preparedness and classroom performance are also included in their end of semester grade. |
