The Library is located on the ground floor in the administration building which makes it
easily accessible to the users. The current library holdings are more than
3000 books, magazines, video films and journals.
We are continuously developing the resources of our Library through continuous support of our
faculty, students and staff.

To provide
a better service to users, all Library operations are fully automated.
Library currently uses New Horizon, an integrated information system, which
is the latest of Library automation systems. This integrated system is easy
to use and it accommodates all HBCC needs and requirements.

The
Learning Resources Center (LRC) is set up to provide a service to our
students to this end it has been equipped with a photo copier so that
documents may be copied.

Computers
allowing students to access CD ROM’s held by the library section.

In addition to the above a small book library is
available to which the staff may recommend suitable books to the list to be
purchased.

Security in
the library is by standard electromagnetic detection and staff are given
their own pass code for the photo copier.

It is hope in the near
future to expand the LRC into other areas of
multi-media. |
