The Mechanical Engineering Technology/Non-destructive Evaluation Technology (MET/NDE) Unit's mission is to educate and train young Saudis in technological fields that will be of benefit in supporting the Kingdom's industries, especially in mechanical equipment maintenance and advanced inspection techniques. The Unit also aims to assist broader College objectives in developing its students personally in terms of knowledge, application of various skills. problem solving abilities and moral conduct.

The MET unit offers Associate degree programs in following two majors:

• Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET)

• Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE)
