The MET program is designed to prepare
students for careers in industrial/engineering Operation and
Maintenance.
In its early stages students are provided
with the fundamentals of mathematics, physics and other
general sciences related to engineering technology.
During the middle stage of the program,
students study a broad range of mechanical engineering
courses that form the foundation of the discipline.
In the final stage, the students are
trained in more job-specific fields in the such as
troubleshooting plus extensive a cooperative training at an
industry site.
The student must complete 64 credit hours to receive Associate
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
