The mission of the Student Affairs Office is to support the teaching and public service functions of the College by providing programs, services and activities that promote the academic success of the College student and enhance the quality of campus life. These comprehensive student support services are geared toward providing knowledge and skills that can facilitate decision making and problem solving in the community, workplace, or home.

The unit helps students understand the rules and regulations of the college.  The staff in the college are committed to creating an environment which fosters student’s academic and social development through provision of counseling and social activities.  Other services include consulting with tutors about student performance and welfare and providing photo identification cards and other facilities  which make student’s lives in the college easier and develop a good environment for study and learning.
